My cousin and I got into the discussion of adoption. If I were in the position where I couldn't have kids, my first option would be to adopt. She is totally against adoption. She states she doesn't want somebody else kid. I was appalled that she would say something of that nature. How do you guys feel about adoption? Would you Adopt a child?

If my spouse and I could not have children, adoption would be the way to go. Nothing wrong with raising someone elses child, those kids need a loving home too

hi sweetstuff I am allfor adoption if I could afford and could not have children. If I had not been able to have my two kids I would certainly have opted for adoption. A lot of sweet little ones need homes and dont always get them. I think a lot of well to do people who cannot have children should adopt as there are children that need good homes.

I would say that if all else failed and i really wanted to ahve a child I would probably adopt. HOwever, at the same time it would be difficult. My husband would never want to adopt, not so much about it not being his child but because he would not know where the child came from. He is even more against open adoption. It is not a bad thing. His sister wants to adopt but her husband does not, she and he have not had any luck with the getting pregnant thing although I do not think that they really tried very hard either. another friend is adopting, she already has two biological children but she wants to have another child. They can not even afford it and my husband and I are very against them for doing this. We would never tell them this but although she is trying to be Selfless about it but I feel that they are being selfish about it when they can barely afford the two children they already have it is just very selfish of them.
