Do you beleive in Ghost?

I know this is a strange question, but do you?
When I was about 9 years old, I was awaken in the middle of the night with the feeling someone was watching me. As I turned over on my back and opened my eyes, I seen this glowing figure starring at me, I remember how scared I was, that I suddenly raised up in my bed and turned on the light. It was gone!! nothing!! But what was it? I know something or someone was there. So I got up, and started searching my room. And seen nothing. So I just thought I was dreaming. So I turned the light off and went back to be. Covering up and rolling over toward the closet, which was cracked open. There it was again, this time I didn't turn on the light, and got up and went to the closet and looked in. There it was that glowing figure again, I was so scared I ran to my bed, grabed my blacket and pillow and ran to the living room. Now the couch was sitting where you could see down the hall. And I seen this ghostly figure cross the hall and go into another room. I just covered my head and hoped it wouldn't find me. The next morning my mother asked me why I was sleeping in the living room. I told her and she told me that it had to be my gardian angel looking over me. That was the only reason I ever slept in that room again. I then felt like I was safe in there and had nothing to be scared about.
Has anyone ever seen a ghostly glowing figure watching over them before?

I've always attracted ghosts since I was in my HS years. The most scariest I had was when I "brought" home a ghost from somewhere I went one time. Weeks ago, the place was already in the news because ghosts kept appearing in cellphones while people were having pictures. Then we went there for a night out. We went to a bar and when my boyfriend brought me home around 2am, my adrenalin was still high. I laid down and faced the wall when I felt all my hair go up. I suddenly turned the other side. Beside my cabinet was a man figure with his arms crossed staring at me. I sat up and stared back. When he wouldn't budge, I laid down again and felt for my phone. Then I called my mom next door to come in and open the light. From then on, I never slept with lights completely turned off. I now have a small nightlite.
The funny thing is, when I got married, the first time my husband and I slept there, he kept waking my husband up. My niece would also see the same "visitor" when she would use my bathroom. Now that we live there again, he doesn't bother us anymore.

Hi jammyt,
It's good that you arn't the only one that see this, or feels it. That way no one can call you crazy. I told my husband about it one day and he just laughed at me. He said he doesn't beleive in ghost. But he does beleive in UFO.. Don't figure!!
With the way my mother explained the sighting to me, If made me feel safe and unscared. I never had to sleep with a light on. And to this day, I sometime sit in a dark room with just my thoughts. So I guesss her explination kept me from fearing the dark

Well I guess your mother was right. It was your angel that you've seen not a real ghost. First is that he doesn't want to really bother you and would just want to see you how you are doing. I guess it just happen that your third eye got opened somehow and that you were able to see it.
I believe that there are ghost or entities that is amongst us and angels are part of it also. I guess they are there for a purpose.

Ya, I feel she was right, The figure I seen didn't try to hurt me. It was just standing over me, as a mother watches her baby sleep. And sometime I feel something guiding me. And when I do, I think back on that night and think of her..

I beleive to a point. I believe there are spirits and ghosts...as well as other creatures we are blind to...that hide from us or we choose not to see...BUT i dont believe they are "out to get us" If you believe in them as something scary than they are but otherwise look at them as something unknown...unexplored...something neat.

Ya, I guess, when you really think about it. How else can you explain things, such as da ja voo, or even starge feeling comming over you. It is unexpainable. But, It doesn't scare me anymore..

Yes, i do believe in ghosts but i've never seen one. My ex boyfriend used to see alot of ghosts because his third eye is open. He's very sensitive to supernatural things. But sometimes there are times when i can sense someone with me or i can smell flowers and the scent of candles. But i've never seen a glowing figure or an apparition. I dont know what i'll do if i ever see one. I'll probably die of fright.
