Sleeping Travelers! / myLot

I have seen many sleeping during bus/train travel. It seems they are taking bus for that. What is surprising is that they will wake up on reaching the destination. I can’t sleep during a bus/train journey. Can you?

Hi there bvdev234 No I can never sleep when I am travelling as usually I will be with my children and have to keep an eye on them. Even if I was on my own I don't think I could have a quick snooze because I would be worried that I'd miss my destination!

Hi bvdev234, No, I can't fall asleep if I am travelling on bus/train, I went on a long journey with my friend one and she slept right through the journey while I was wide awake, I just cannot sleep just in case I miss my stop. Tamara

No way no how! I have to have my bedroom door closed even at home there is no way i could sleep out in public with a lot of strangers around me. They must truly be trusting souls to be able to do that.

I can sleep very well during a train journey but not during a bus journey...it depend on habit I gues..Since I have travelled so much via train I fall asleep as soon as I want to...But oon a bus journey its real difficul cause the journey is not very smooth. Have a nice day!
