I want to learn to sing but I cant, I'm tone deaf and I cant hear out of one ear. So I cant judge my singing. Is there a way to learn, I wish I could.

hmm, good question. i personally don't know the answer to this question, but if i had to give an answer, i would agree with what the rest have said. you could probably learn how to sing, but it would be harder and take much longer. however, with perseverance, i'm sure everything will work out fine in the end

Hi Babytaffster. If you can hear anything at all, you can sing. If you can hear anything including noise, you are not tone deaf. Noise is unorganized sound. Music is organized sound. It's a matter of knowing how to listen. There is a way to learn. For more info about singing for those who think they are tone deaf, check out www.4simplestepstosinging.com.
Don't just wish for it. Do something about it.

i am a voice instructor, and i know that you can learn how to sing but slowly than people who are not tone deaf. i have experience already teaching someone who is tone deaf and it really needs extra patience. you can learn but you and your teacher has to have a lot of patience.
