How effectively can you ever say a NO? .. if it is your Friend, or your Spouse, or you client?
Can you overcome your -- struggle in saying a direct NO?
What are the consequences about saying NO... and how are you going to cope up with that? Do you really consider all these, when saying a FIRM "NO"? .. IF at all you say.
Or, do you suffer, and oblige, instead of saying a NO?
pLEASE... ANSWER CLEARLY.

Consequences of saying no? If it's right for me to say no, I need to do that for myself. I have no problem saying no, because I say yes so often.
It's okay to balance things out, but it's also important to have your time.
If you are stressed, or busy, no is almost appropriate.
Depending on what you are talking about saying no to...
People need to learn to say what they want and need...sometimes NO is what you need to say.

I must admit, I'm sometimes quite poor when it comes to saying no especially to friends. Maybe because I see obliging to their requests as doing them a favor. It's not really peer pressure. I could have have said no if I wanted to but I guess it's in my nature to be obedient. But I do say "no" on situations where the outcome of what they are asking may not be favorable for me and possibly for them. And once I make that decision to say no, I stand firm on it.

firstly, thankyou for so frank an answer to a sensitive issue.
You have unknowingly, or knowingly, triggered some inconvenience, in me, when you commented on PEER PRESSURE. anyhow, it is not relevant to the present topic.
It is very very cute, that you would stand firm, once you say a NO.
The question is, how effective are you in saying it, when required. lols.
Goodluck, and thanks again,.

I can answer no if I don't like to do it or I know if it really wont work out. Anyway if they insist I will explain why I answered no for letting them understand the consequences of a mistake. I don't know why I am so firm when I say no or with my decision. I will really stand my answer. Somethings have time to weigh things but it takes time also for me to answer a yes or no I'll just say just give me time for my answer. Have a great day!
