Do you miss a myLot Interests Search option?

I've been a member only for a few days here at myLot, I find it a great place to post and talk to people. I feel however that one thing could really use some organizing: Interests.
Say you want to start a new Discussion on something. The first thing you have to do is choose an Interest to put it in. And for instance, if I'm looking for Pulp Fiction, where and how would I find that?
Can I hit P for Pulp in a Search Field? Can I click somewhere and go to Movies? How about the Lunar Landing? Kung Fu?Maybe it's just something I didn't find out yet, but from what I see we would all move quite a bit easier, if we could search that huge list, and have the relevant interests displayed for us to choose.
You guys agree?

Yes., A Lot. There are somany interests in same topic and I can't find which one is the best. I had added what ever that was interesting to me. A search engine that can shows the no of users and the number from top of interests would be better for people to add interests.

In my original post I meant more how do you find an Interest that you know exists ? They're not even ordered alphabetically, it's just 'select an interest' and perhaps 47 pages of interests, placed randomly. Enjoy searching for the one you want :D
But yours is also a good idea, people should be able to search and filter those Interests, they're a huge number already, and I bet they're growing every day :D

i agree with you 100% i only joined yesterday but i was thinking that it would be a lot easier with a search bar

I use to post all my discussions based on my own experiences,likes and dislikes,my hobbies and other things closely connected to my personal and professional life. I do hardly find time to search for ideas and themes from search sites.What ever ideas,thoughts and concepts that flash my mind at the moment I start working on mylot,I just manage to make a theme out of those for discussion. Thanks.
