For those following Andre's story

The vet has called and is on our side agreeing that Andre is not ours. They will also post a sign for him to find a new home. Andre is under quarentine in our garage till the 21st which is 10 days. The vet is not releasing info to the neighbor as it is a breach of confidentiality so they can go suck rotten eggs. The neighbor did tell the vet that they were taking care of the cat but they are the neighbor of the ones who were taking care of andre.
Anyway we are going to find him and ghost new homes cause I just can't deal with it anymore.

I am glad to hear you are going to find both of them new homes. That is sweet of you to do. Not many people would. I don't understand why people claim it is their pets. Til something like a bite happens. Than they refuse to take responsibility. Shame on them. Good for you by being the better person and looking for a home for the cats.

Now they have called animl control and they are on our but3s since the vet wouldn't give out the info to them that they wanted. So this is getting ridiculous.

These people are just nasty. We have andre quarentined in a cage away from the other animals. He goes to the vet in the morning for a check up then it is back in the cage for 9 more days. After that he will find a new home and so will ghost cause I am not going to put up with these stupid people anymore.

Just tell animal control you have no idea where the animal is at. As you dropped it off at the vet and haven't heard since. Animal control can't do anything if they can't find the animal. I know this all to well when my son was bitten by a dog and had to go to the hospital. The hospital calls animal control right off the bat in my area.

Thank you for keeping us posted on what is happening with Andre. I'm glad the vet agrees with you, that he is not your cat, and I am glad that he will some way some how find a nice new home where he will be taken care of. If anything else happens, please let us know.
