Eggs: Scrambled, Boiled or Sunny-Side Up?

I noticed that people have different preferences regarding how eggs are cooked. When I was kid I used to love scrambled egg with salt. This is what my mom usually serves us. During my college days I experimented. I sauted garlic until it's brown then fry the egg with it. I know it's weird but I liked it. I also like it on sunny-side up with a pinch of salt all over it. I want it lightly done. For my scrambled eggs, sometimes I like it well done. How about you guys how do you cook your eggs?

All of the above but my favorite is scrambled with things scrambled into the eggs, like cheese, tomatoes, potatoes, ham, onions, etc. I like eggs benedict too, yum.

You take half an English muffin, place Canadian bacon on top, then a poached egg and then cover it with hollandaise sauce. A variation, eggs florentine, uses bacon instead of Cancadian bacon (which is basically ham), spinach and sometimes bearnaise sauce instead of the hollandaise sauce.

Hollandaise? Bearnaise? Err. That sounds foreign to me. I don't even know what florentine eggs are...

I like my eggs all different kinds of ways..I like them hard boiled either in potato salad or deviled eggs, or with a little salt..I like scrambled eggs with a little water and onion..(I would love to try it with garlic though, I love garlic). I also like it over easy, which is different from sunny side up, over easy is cooked more..Then I like omlets with onion, mushroom and cheese.

deviled eggs - These are what my deviled eggs look like..
People make them differently, but here is how I make mine.. After I hard boiled them and allow them to cool, I peel them and cut them in half, lengthwise..I take out the yolk and break it up with a fork. Then I add mayonaise, miracle whip, mustard, celery seed and finely chopped onion. I scoop that into the half section of the egg and sprinkle paprika on top..Below I found a picture of what mine look like..

Amm how do you make deviled eggs?. One most widely cooking style for eggs here is saute'd onions and tomatoes sandwiched with scrambled eggs. I tried scrambled eggs with cheese. I like it with mushrooms too. But I usually forget to buy them. Thanks for reminding me

I like scramble eggs when I was a child and I still do. Before I don’t like sunny side up with it’s yolk not done very well. Now I like both sunny side up and scrambled egg. For my sunny side up, I love it slightly cook the yolk with salk sprinkled all over it. My scrambled egg should be well cooked and salt to taste. Sometimes I put slice tomatoes and onion in my scrambled egg. It’s best with ketchup.

Hello, Yuna! I like scrambled egg with fried potatoes, onions (lots of them) and a little salt. I fry the potatoes first which is cut into strips, then I fry the garlic. After that, I put both into the beaten egg and add salt. Walah! I lightly fry this and I have my best recipe. I call it potato omelet. My children also like this with fried rice or bread.

I am not an egg person, but there are times that I like to eat one. My preference for either boiled or fried egg depends on my mood. I don't fancy scrambled eggs at all. If fried, I also liked spraying salt on top of it. If boiled, I prefer both hard- and soft-boiled. Happy myLotting!

I love eggs anyway they can be made.Generally I have them over-easy or in an omelet, but poached is up there quite high as well. They are a quick and easy fix and economical too.

The bacon bits actually replaces salt in the egg. Sounds yummy! Sometimes I use sweet ham too with cheese. Thanks for the response!

sunny side up is my choice, with a pinch of salt all over it. But if I'm in a hurry, I'd mostly boil the eggs and peel the shells out and it's ready to be eaten with some dash of salt!

I do that as well when I'm gonna be late for work. But when I'm in a hurry too much I sometimes forget it then I overcook it.

I like eggs for breakfast as long as it's not everyday, the most would be thrice a week and different style of cooking. I like sunny side up well done. I like scrambled eggs with a little salt or salt and pepper or with milk or with cheese. I like egg omelette of tuna, hotdogs or eggplant. I like boiled eggs too with ketchup as a dip.

Well shouldn't eat it everyday! . It's unhealthy. They say that we can only eat it at least 2-3 times a week. Unless you just boil it. It's fine. By the way I haven't tried my eggs with milk though. Hmm.. Interesting I can probably try that one time.

I love boiled eggs. I like them just a bit runny, with toast and a pinch of salt. I have never really experimented with them though. Maybe with an omelete, I have added different things, but I must try experimenting as I love eggs.

I like my eggs scrambled but I also like them sunny side up and boiled. I didn't eat eggs for a long time just lost my taste for them. My three year old grandaughter has gotten back to eating eggs. She likes them scrambled and really enjoys them. So I eat them when she does.
