Breaking Eggs

If I live to be 102 I will never be good at breaking eggs. No matter how hard I try, I just can't do it right. I've always felt that my problem is that I don't whack them hard enough, I try, but I just kind of "crush" the shell and have to work at getting it apart (and often wind up with bits of shell in the egg that I have to fish out.) I just don't get how some people can do this so easily, even with one hand! So how about everybody else, are you good at breaking eggs? Is there a "trick" to it?

really? i find this post funny because i love breaking eggs when i am cooking..:D well i just hold it gently but not too gently, i use a knife when i break them..i cnanot really describe it..lol but it is easy:D you maybe just have to practice more. good luck..happy cooking!

You mean you hit the egg with the handle of the knife?

well i like to see this..i am pure vegitarian so i dont want touch the egg at all..and also dont want eat it...but i like to see the breaking of eggs..specily boys used to beark with some style..first they knock the egg for two times using their finger after that they will something ..it will open..amzing thing to me.. have a nice time with mylot..
