This topic maybe quite "oldie" but I hope for old time's sake you can share your experiences on this. I wanted to take up Journalism in college simply because i was influenced by my father being one. But unfortunately, the course was not available then in our university and my parents would not allow me to study outside our locality; I opted to take up a bachelor's degree majoring the English language and Literature. I am happy I took up the course because although in limited aspects, it somehow relates to Journalism, I can still find the opportunity of writing enhanced within. How about you Guys, how did you choose your courses in college? Are you happy with it then and now? THANKS for sharing your thoughts on the matter. Happy posting!

my first course in college was bs nutrition. i took it because my brother said it's a nice course. nutrition is quite far from what i really wanted because what i want is to be a journalist but too bad it was a quota course in the university i wanted to enter. it was a bad idea because after one year, i am at a loss and am failing most of my chemisty class. So I end up shifting to another course. i graduated with a degree in eductation. i learned that one should be careful in choosing a course in colege

I chose my course in college because i have been influenced by my teachers. Eversince i was in elementary, i have idolized my teachers so much. I even believe what they said than my parents. I have dreamed that my mother is a teacher but sad to say she's not. I envy my classmate whose mother are teachers. so i decided when i grow up i want to be a teacher so I took up Education as my course.
