Hi Adihindu, you are great, you plan in advance. I believe you will always know the cash flow status from time to time. Me too, i will plan in advance for the money to be spend, because i hate unplanned situation. Every month i will have fix amount to pay for housing and car loan, insurances, bill and etc. Thus i really need to plan it properly. Also, due to both me and my wife are working, thus we really need to plan it well as we only have fixed income.

My budget planning depends on how much money I got in my pocket at the time of purchase. If I have enough, I'm spending. If not, well ..... And this is coming from an economist by training! We are all deficit spenders for a period of time in our lives, this just happens to be mine.

I am a single individual. I adapt to my situation, know my resources and the terrain. I have slept in Palaces, Temples and under an overpass not to mention a few missions. There is always hope! There is always a way! But it takes "you" to make that decision, to live by it then go on with life.

I plan my budget for every month. Actually, I barely have time to really savor the cash in the palm of my hands cos they're basically set for my bills' deadlines every month. The spare money is just enough for the fare, some lunch with friends, a little amount inside my piggy bank and I'm back to zero again. But I'm setting my online earnings for my Christmas budget, at least this one I'm sure I can buy a couple of new clothes and some extra stuffs outside of my budget for every month.

I have not made a budget for next month. I usually do it on the 12th when my hubby receive his salary. I have devised teh envelope system for my household expenditure, which I think will keep me from spending too much extra. As for my personal spending, I have started a new bank account, just for my spending. I put in some money at the beginning of the month and I can only use that amount, so it will restrict my spending. HOw do you go about doing your budget? Quite curious!

Same as like you but in a little different way. My husband get his salary on 5th of every month. So I plan at 1st only. We have common account with two debit card, so we use the same account for monthly budgets. When I was crossed the limits in expenditures, my husband warns me about the same. If I haven't taken any care about that, he will through me out in the budjet and place some limits in my card.

I am making budget too but we always under shortage . whatever we makes it going over it . suddenly something coming up and vandalizing all our efforts for saving. I have fixed income but one third of income we making for monthly budget. but nothing is happened as we think. i started side business to balance our requirement but there is also we failed to acheive our target.all these happening because our government could not control the inflation. and now we have to ready to face more inflation in coming months.it is really sad

yah, government fails to control inflation and we have to face those and they show their effect in only middle class families. I had paid 1500 INR as my rent in the last year and now it was 3000 INR. But my husbands salary was increase only by 30% where all other things increased by 60%. Hats off to your expectations and knowledge. Happy to have a response from a guy like you.

I do the budgeting too. The thing is I am single. But then no matter how I budget things, I usually fall short which is frustrating.

For me every budget is very important, with out one I tend to buy without control. So yes I make a budget. Usually something always comes up unexpectly and ruins it.

That applies to me also. I can't control my expenses unless I did a budget. Happy to have your response.

My wife and I have a long term planned about the things we do in our daily lives to make the life better and it includes the monthly budget for our grocery, and payment that we need to pay in the bank for our house and the rest are for our light and water bills.

I am lover of budget so i make regularly at start of month. Normally my income side used to less than the expenses. So its a motivator for me to work more and earn more to make it balance. I always prefer to make more expense budget which includes savings and i work more to earn more to make it balance...I am lover of budget

You are good in economics. I know we have to plan more expenditure than income. It makes us motivated towards getting more money as we need it. Thanks for a great response.

I do not plan how to spend the money (certainly find that: D). I made a list where i have to go and buy what else to do with money, but i never stay to calculate the amounts, that help me exactly what I need (I do not know how, but I do). I think if u do not make plans for your money, njoy more and more of them.

When we have responsibilties, we must loose some of our enjoy towards our family and if not, the entire family will fall in shortage of money. I don't want this thing to be happen in my family. Please consider this as my personal openion only. Happy to have your response.

I budget and plan and save to the last penny, I'm horrible. But my expenses are higher then my income currently, so I have to know where every red cent is going in order to make it work harder for me. That way I know what money is coming out of where, when it needs to come out by, and if I have anything extra coming in that month. I also keep finite control of my change, I save better that way as it is unaffected if something unusual comes out of my checking account. Its good to see it all down on paper. :)

We have to find some new ways to get the money in better ways when we need extra money. But I was failed in making extra money when I need them.
