Yeah I crap on when it comes to mylot! I am not sure exactly why but it seems that whenever it comes to activity on here I seem to have a heck of a lot to say in most cases; and I sure need to learn when to stop! Especially when it comes to replying to responses. No matter how long or how short the response is I always seem to find SOMETHING to go on about in return..... A time will come very soon when I will not be able to be this detailed anymore as I won't have the time to spare but I have certainly made hay while the sun shines for now! So are you also someone who tends to crap on a bit as well or are you always short and sweet? Does it bother you when people are so detailed? I wonder if I will ever run out fo things to say.....

I am not good on words, in fact no good n conversing, no good on details too. so why did I ever join mylot? ha ha I am making efforts to make my wordings and response here longer and it really is taking my time, but what can I do, I really should learn, maybe you can teach me how?

I find it really hard to not go rambling on especially if it is a discussion I feel strongly about. Other times it is hard to write more than a line or two. I try to respond to most of my friends discussions and I can usually find something to say. I think it is all right to go on a bit as long as it keeps to the subject.

Thank goodness. A fellow rambler! lol. The problem with me wanderer is even when it is a cpmment that I don't feel overly strongly about I still seem to manage to crap on! I do try to keep within context though. Thanks for your response.

As much as I can, I did give a my best try to respond to a discussion as much as I can, admittedly though, I find it hard sometimes to express my thoughts into something since I had to think harder what and how to say it. Nonetheless, I am grateful in ways that mylot and other mylotters accepts our rantings at times.

All we could ever ask from another member is that they give us their best efforts when responding. I agree that it can be hard, yes. But sometimes it can also be very easy and we could go on for even longer than we actually do! I have no issues with rantings at all if they are in context so bring it on! Thanks for the response torch and no issues with your grammar concern at all.

Thank you for the compliment Watari! I am very busy this comoing month unfortunately, but I always try to be active here as well. Maybe nowhere near as much as I would like, but active nonetheless! I am someone that doesn't seem to be able to be short and sweet even when I should! lol. But I am what I am and so be it. Thanks for your comments.

roflmao - This discussion is sooooo funny!!!
No, James, I do NOT understand what you're talking about!!! I have NOT noticed that you seem to prattle on & on. Actually, I was told my job here was to have diarrhea of the thought process!!! I have NEVER had that problem!!! Are we not supposed to say everything on our minds until we empty our thoughts??? If not, please let me know so I'll know when to cut my thoughts off!!! I find your discussions interesting & insightful. Your responses very well thought out & informative. I have NEVER noticed that you seem to go on & on & on & on & I don't know anybody with that problem!!! Well James, my dear friend. I hope you get your point across to those you are trying to reach or did it just go over my head???

I had just typed a long reply and then my computer shut down and I lost it! OK, take 2 then! lol. Firstly, I am happy that you haven't noticed this at all and I appreciate the compliments LadyMarissa. What I do wish to know though is what if I CAN'T empty my thoughts? It could be borderline madness or something but my mind seems to go 24/7! lol. I am sure that the point didn;t go over your head too because I am not even sure if I had one to begin with! This was probably just another self-generated opportunity for me to crap on some more! Thank you for your comments and if you need something for that thought process diarrhea then let me know so I can put the feelers out to fix it. Either that or you can self medicate like me on mylot!

Well, when you talk about responding back to discussions, for me, it really depends on the type of discussion and what I am trying to get across as a point when I respond back to them. Sometimes I find myself thinking about it, and if I cannot post back enough that I feel will pertain back to that issue, I leave that discussion behind, and move on to the next. But even sometimes as well when responding back to one of the discussions that I have started, it can be easy to continue to still go on there as well.

Fair enough KrauseHome. I do appreciate that there can be certain responses that do not really offer us the chance to be too detailed in return and even some that don't seem to be able to inspire us to say ANYTHING in return! Personally words have never been an issue for me and I will crap on regardless! lol. Thanks for your response.

I can so relate, james. I tend to be very wordy. I type and think fast and before I know it...guess i've said too much. when it is pointed out to me, I get self-concious and slow down a bit for a while. I have to make a concientious effort to keep things short & sweet or i just do not.

I sometimes think along the same lines sid. I will be typing and typing and then I will see all the sentences etc and wonder to myself if I have over-done things! lol. But I am what I am and as the title of the discussiion states - take it or leave it! All we can be is ourself right? Thank you for responding.

No it does not bother me at all. I like long responses it is the short ones that bother me. The ones that can only manage a few words or a sentence. To me a longer reply of a paragraph or more means that the person has actually put some effort into thinking about the topic and may even have read the content not just the title. I know there are some people on mylot who do not like length and some who will not read long discussions but words just come naturally to me.

We have had some good and lengthy exchanges betwen us sharra so I can see that you enjoy the detailed chats! I am the same and as long as we remain in context then all the better in my opinion. Yes, there may be people that are put off by the more complex discussions and comments but I am not one of them at all. Thanks for your response and I shall have many more detailed exchanges with you again no doubt!

I like mylot very much because I am circulating with people of great ideas and learning. I can post a silly question like do you still love your first love. lol . And people will respond. I'm some kind of a writer so words are not that difficult for me to find... well, i have this knack of playing around with words... What do I mean with that? haha! Though not so detailed, it will be good to, uhm, just ramble along... Anyhow, this is my first post here in MyLot, and I promise, this won't be the last..

james I also find it hard to make my responses short and sweet as various ideas keep coming in and I feel like sharing them so' I guess I do crap on and on a bit too. It doesnt bother me nearly as much as the person who says oh yes, or oh, or maybe or else says I dont understand. I would rather people put in some detail. I hate a discussion that hasonly one sentence and goes like this do you like to use, unusual word, I do. Now I am asking the person for an explanation of this word I have never seen before, How can I answer if I do not know what this word means, is it a fruit, a song, or what? would that the poster would explain that unusual word then I might be able to respond. For example I will use the word dimawitty, this is just made up, but my example is do you like dimawitty, do you ever use dimawitty and where did you find dimawitty? now I am ready to scream what the hell is dimawitty, tell me then I can answer you.

So there I am going on about "Selective Response Syndrome" in another discussion and then I accidentally miss your response Hatley! Goodness me. That could have been embarassing for me! lol. I have always enjoyed you response Hatley so there is no crapping on in sight as far as I am concerned. Isn't it frustrating though when you DO ask about something yet you don't get an answer? Detail is always a good thing in my opinion and as long as it is in context then it at least has a greater chance of insopiring further discussion! Thanks for responding and by the way, what the heck is dimawitty?

hi james, when the topic is of interest and i can dig my brain for some comments then you can expect a long reply ... but for a straight forward questions ... i will just put the answer without much details to support some discussions, people would have said what i wanted to say, then i will also give a short answer cheers

If it's interesting or I can relate to it, I tend to drone on, usually giving more detail than necessary. Sometimes I just feel ornery and play devil's advocate, arguing for the sake of arguing, and other times, I'm just too tired and just leave short clipped responses. Caffeine makes a big difference, but my caffeine is most often cold, addicted to Pepsi not coffee.

I agree that mood can play a significant part here lorelei. Sometimes we are more energetic ye other times we really don't feel up to it at all. The funny thing is that even with my longer replies I am still restraining myself sometimes. lol. When it comes to a topic I know a bit about I could crap on forever! Thanks for responding and for making me now want a Pepsi Max when I have none!
