Is cricket a gentleman's game?

cricket was started by the englishmen.it was played for just fun and pleasure.but now a days it is a profesional game.in this game there is no indiscipline.but nowadyas we see a lot a things like ball tampering,sledging,etc.so wht u think?is criket a gentleman's game?

I think it is still a gentleman's game. I come from Canada and when I first watched a cricket match I was so surprised when they stopped for tea. How civilized I thought. I could just imagine stopping a ice hockey game and having all these ugly brutes sitting at mid ice and drinking tea with there little pinkies up then next period bashing each other against the walls again. So I think yes it is a gentleman's game.
