Are you one of the women that gets up every morning evey when you have nowhere to go and put your make up on? I am not one of those myself. As a matter of fact, for the past few weeks my money situation has been so bad that I could not afford to buy my makeup, so I didnot wear any at all. I did not have any to wear. I bought me some makeup off ebay and it should arrive this week, I hope. That way I could keep my cash money to buy food. I know women that would not be caught without their face made up. What about you?

Tsk tsk.. If I'm at home the entire day, I will not wear any makeup at all. In fact, I hate putting on makeup. It's a hassle to put on and then wash it off again. If not for work, I would never put on makeup. I don't think putting on makeup every day is good for the skin. I think our skin needs to rest..

No, i never put makeup on my face when i am at home. Only a light moisturizer is all i put. When i go out it is just a sunblock and some eye liner which i use alongwith a lip balm/lip gloss.

I used to always wear makeup even at home everyday. But now I just don't have the time and I didn't even have the time to go and buy anymore. Everytime I was at the store I would forget to buy it so I went for a while without wearing and got used to looking at myself. I bought me some make up off ebay cheap so I can wear some when I with my daughter to her doctor visits. I don't plan on going back and wearing all of the makeup, just very little. Thanks for your response.

i used to be one of those who believed that beauty was skin deep and makeup was not needed.boy o boy did my ideas change when i started working. there you just cant show up without it. if you do the moment you enter the place you can here all sorts of comments. but what i really like is a freashly scrubbed face.

Yes, I remember when I had a job that required you wear makeup. I would be told by some of my coworkers that I needed to go and fix my makeup when I arrived because I didn't have enough on. I didn't like that job and it was only temporary. I really think that it is wrong to expect a person to wear makeup everyday like that.

I'm quite self-conscious about myself and I don't really like the way I look without make-up, but a lot of the time I think it's unnecessary to put it on. Around the house no one is going to see you really except your family so I don't bother. It gives your skin a break. When I go out it depends on where I'm going. If it's just the doctor's then I don't bother because it's not like he's going to judge me for it! When I go shopping I tend to put a bit on though, or I wear sunglasses. I don't like how my eyes look without a bit of make-up!

Hi Jane, No I am not a big makeup wearer, I don't even wear it to work, I only wear it when I am going out to party or something like that, I just can't be bothered have to go through all the time and effect just to apply it and then when you get home you have to remove it before you go to bed, nah no thanks I have heaps better things to be doing with my time then to have to worry about putting on makeup!

I actually don't wear make up at all. Only when there's a party. It irritates my skin and a lot of pimple will come out. and I hate it very much. When I got home from the party I immediately wash my face to remove the make up. I won't let it stay for many hours or overnight. It will just make my skin older and destroys it. And I will have a lot of wrinkles. As much as possible I want to preserve my skin fresh and young. ^_^ I only put face powder that is mild on my face. And I wash my face every night and every morning when I wake up.

Thank you for your response. I got me some new Mary Kay foundation and tried that this morning. It didn't make my skin itch. I don't wear makeup often anymore.

Hey sweetbabyjane, If I'm not going anyplace further than the neighborhood stores then I don't bother putting on any makeup. I just can't be bothered. I used to not want to leave the house without any makeup, but I no longer care. If I just need to run out to the local store and I'm just going out for a quick walk down to the stores I just shower, put my hair up and go. If I am staying home in the house I also don't bother with any makeup. My boyfriend now lives with me and he has seen me without makeup more often then he has seen me with it so I don't care anymore. I prefer if it is at least a sunny day so I can wear sunglasses, but if it isn't I just wear my regular glasses and go do whatever it is I have to do. There's not poing in wasting makeup just to run down to the store and back.

I did put a little make up on this morning when I went with my daugther to take her 3 year old daughter to the doctor. The nurse said to me what have you done to yourself you look so much younger and pretty today. I am 52 year old and that was nice compliment. Thank you for your response.

Hi there..;-0 Well I really don't wear make up when I am in the house or even in public..I just wear make up when there is a event or some gigs that I need to attend and I only wear some light make up,not the heavy one because my skin is easily irritated so I always get careful when it comes to cosmetics..;-0 God bless and have a nice day..;-0

I am not one of those women either... in fact i rarely put on make up... so the ones that i have at home would last for years... since i only use them when i have to... like if i will attend an important gathering... or business meeting... i fine wearing make up too time consuming... so i don't bother myself with that...

I haven't wear make-up whenever I go outside except for special occasion. And of course I'm not wearing wearing make-up when I am inside my home. I personally believe there are a lot of disadvantages for girls who used to wear make-up all the time. It can make their face wrinkled at an early age. It also might contain dangerous chemicals which could harm your skin so be cautious in choosing the right make up for you.

If I'm at home or just running out to the store I will put on a little bit of mascara. For some reason I feel like I'm ready to face the day once I've brushed my teeth and hair and thrown on a little mascara. Usually I don't wear much makeup anyway, but I just can't seem to go without that mascara.

No no. To me, make up is a time consuming activity. You need time to put it on and you need time to do a thorough cleaning. I'll only put on make up during special occasion, like wedding dinner. I rather use my time for something more meaningful, such as doing housework.
