How many cups of coffee can you gulp down in a day?

Coffee cup - Coffeeholic, coffee lover...that's me

I am a self-confessed coffeeholic. I used to drink 3-4 cups of coffee in a day especially at night since I work on graveyard shifts. But ever since I got pregnant, I tried to minimize the cups to one a day, though I know it is bad for my condition. I can't help it...really. The smell just makes my mouth water, and I can't resist downing one cup a shift. Even if it is bad, it actually helps me to stay awake during my shift.

I drink about 1 cup of coffee every 2 - 3 hours. It is easy for me to drink coffee at work since I don't make it myself, we just get coffee at our desks throughout the day. I love it!! I also have to drink a cup before leaving the house in the morning.

It was time when i had nearly 6 to 7 cups of coffee a day. But soon i got alergic to it and now i drink only 1 cup in week. When i had lot of coffee i usually had lot of sneezing and i thought i might be a dust alergy. But after we had changed my home to new, my room was very clean and even that time i had sneezing. So i went to a homeopathy specialist and he suggested me to not take so much of coffee a day, and so i stopped it. I now my sneezing is completely reduced.

I am typically an individual who can go about my entire day without any coffee, even if I lack sleep and feel sleepy. I am not an avid fan of coffee because when I do feel sleepy, I drink lukewarm water, instead of coffee. I only drink coffee on an occasional basis. However, I developed a craving for coffee which started early this year. My concoction would usually be a half teaspoon of coffee, one teaspoon of sugar, and three to four teaspoons of coffee creamer. I guess I should have stated that I developed a craving of coffee creamer because as I have mentioned, my dose of creamer is more than thrice that of my coffee. I used to drink my cup of coffee until the last drop. At times, I would even let it simmer for a while or let it cool down; or even refrigerate it to have iced coffee. From then on, I think I drank coffee two or three times a week, having one to two cups a day. But just last month, I decided to lessen my intake of coffee because I recently felt unusual palpitations of my heart ever since I started drinking this. At present, I have limited myself to only one cup a week. I just resorted back to drinking lukewarm water everytime I feel the urge to have my cup of coffee. And if my memory still serves me right, I rarely drink black coffee.

When I was pregnant I switched to decaf despite the small amount of caffeine found in decaf. But it was a lot better than three to five regular cappuccinos a day at the time. Now I drink about five to six cups of coffee a day. With it being so hot out still (subtropics) I have at least half of those as iced coffees. I still have my cappuccinos but have cut back to one every other day. I read a medical article a few years ago about how having real dairy in coffee/cappuccino negates much of the cancer causing agents and other negative things in coffees. Don't know if it still holds true but I do staunchly defend my coffee with, "It's good for me. I'm getting calcium." Have a great day and happy mylotting!

I wake up each morning and drink anywhere from 2-10 cups of coffee. It just depends on what I am doing that day. Today, i am on my eighth cup already because I am at home and do not have to work. Besides that, it is cold and dreary outside today. I rarely drink coffee after noon though. I prefer tea or Mountain Dew at thast time.
