With the advent of recent teaching aids or self help kits like Guides, ready made notes, expected question banks etc. studentsare distracted from their reghular classesand concentrating more on these things. DVDs and CDs are added to modern teaching aids.Internet also has become very good source of knowledge for the students of modern day. On line teaching is picking upvery fast. All these things together with lack daicical attitude of todays teacher towards the students and proffession are making them to loose their importance in sudents' life! teachers are no more remained as a totally dependable person as far as the studies are concern. The moden tools have made today's teacher as ordinary employees of a school, who are no more thyan a non teaching staff. They don't really enjoy the previlages what the old timers they had in the form of respect and regard! What do you think about it? Am I right? Please respond! Thanks!

i get what your saying, i mean these days all teacher are really layed back and get students to copy out of textbooks or they follow lesson plans which were pre set out using something like a textbook, yet the grades of students is constantly on the rise. to awnser the question simply, yes i think they have i mean, if a teacher is absent they just give them sheets they photocopied in like 10mins.
