Do actors and actresses have real emotions/

India

By emoting so frequently in front of the camera, most actors and actresses become hardened emotinally I suppose. nothing impresses them and nothing tends to bother them. They have al the worst of habits which people tend to emulate. Live in relationships, changing of partners, frequent marriages and divorces, drugs, and what have you. Is it a reslut of the constant hounding by the press or it is jsut that they becoem immune to all emotions?

I certainly do think that they do. After all, they are only human. I can only imagine that the longer the people are in the spotlight, the more they are used to it and are able build a thick skin, which may explain why some find them emotionally hardened.

Is that what you think of them? Hmmmm, if your point is how they do constant change of partners then probably I'd say it's not change of emotion but rather losing their moral values. Yes, they soon become so at ease with changing partners or doing premarital relationship and getting impregnated without the blessing of marriage and yet they are not even ashamed of those immoral actions. And how their fans emulate them. Poor examples!!! But, I believe their constant acting on camera will not mean immunity from their own emotion in the event they suffer tragedies...like losing a loved one, or got sicked with incurable desease, or got cheated by their spouse, or got robbed, or got raped, or got vehicle accidents. NO, certainly not..acting has no power to deprive anyone of their own emotions to respond accordingly. I've seen how an actress cried and almost lose her sanity when she got raped. I've seen how an actor was devastated over the loss of her wife. I've seen how an actress cried a river over a miscarriage. Those are proofs that they are the same as any normal beings afterall.

well, for my own, yup its true that actors and actresses have real emotion because they are human like us, they can feel pain happiness ans everything that we feel here on erath, only if the are in front of the camera, because there job or work is acting thats why there make a drama or not a real feeling, coz they just follow the script of there director, but in reality thery still apply it sometimes in there real feeling specially if thye are not in there taping.

I don't think so. But whenever I watch actors I sometimes laugh and find it funny, because I know it is not true, I realize how hard their job is. But I don't think they lose emotions because of it. They just get used to acting, and it becomes second nature, because it is their job that they do regularly.

as actors and actress , they are just playing. but there are also many examples that the people who fall in love in the paly then really fall in love in real life. i think its because they need to pretent they are just the guy in play to act better and make the play more real , and after that they mix the real life and the play, and whats more , thier company is good , then they fall in love. i think its natural.

Actors and actresses have real emotions too coz they are human beings. I think that their personal lives differ from the roles they portray in film and tv. While some of the actors and actresses may have bad reputation, we should not generalize them. Some of them are good people too.

Of course, I believe that they have real emotions because they too are humans, the only difference is that their lives are being magnified by media and other entities.

Thats all a lot of rubbish. Actors have highly developed emotions and they use them accordingly. Their relationships break up frequently because of the lack of morals and religion. But their emotions are always there and very prominent. I know because I've known a few of them.

Ofcourse they still have real emotion, the one problem is that we cant determine which is real and which is not for they can handled it truthfully. That can lead to misconception and misunderstanding to some. Another factor is they are always in the public eyes, whenever they do can make or brake there life. It is really up to them how to handle pressure from the expectation of their supporters, media and their respective families.

I would think they do. Maybe their emotions are even heightened. Only an opinion.

Yes,I think that actors and actresses have emotions as they are also human beings.Their reel life and real life is very different.About their bad habits its not true for all the actors. The thing is that their life-style is very much changed from the ordinary persons. The hi-fi society and and the surrounding conditions make them like this.Their thinking towards the life changes as they become famous. But not all of them are like this and many actors are very simple and helpfull also

i think all most everyone has emotions expect for the people with no epathy but if you spit on an actor or actress are they not going to get mad and try and kick your butt or order someone to kick your butt if you go up and do a run by flashing do you not think you would make them blush just a bit because its out of the every day norm i think all most everyone has emotions.

In my opinion I think it depends from person to person. I've seen several actors and actresses (famous and not so famous) being wonderful persons in real life and when they are with friends. Just because they play, acts and show emotions in front of the camera it doesn't necessarily mean they are used to feelings. Feelings are different from person to person, and I'm sure we haven't experienced half the feelings that are out there. As you respond differently to different events and situations, even if you could class it as one feeling. For instance anger, you can feel a lot of different angers - ie. someone who doesn't admit they are wrong or when you see someone being very rude to your partner/friend/mother, don't you feel different kind of anger in those situations? Back to the actors and actresses. You might have a point in them being used to impress themselves and that nothing bothers them anymore, but some people might be very shy. But when they step into someone else's roll, they get very into it and act like this second person (roll). I think that actors and actresses has to kind of learn to not mix personal life and job. Cause after all, being an actor/actress is their job. And their habits, then...? Well I think their behavior mostly depends on the pressure the media puts on them. If I were them I'd probably have some rough times in my relationship and such if the media constantly gets involved. Not to mention how this would feel for my partner. Happy myLotting, Mercuryman!
