What is it about barbecuing?

I love to eat barbecue especially burgers and hot dogs, my dad loves to barbecue hes really in to the hole process of barbecuing like making a good fire and stuff and whenever we have a barbecue we have to wait until the food is just right before we can eat, by then most of us are really hungry and ready to wolf down every thing in site in fact Iv noticed that most men are really in to barbeque grills lol I mostly just like eating barbeque. anyway what is it about barbecuing that guys like so much?
