This article from the wallstreet journal talking about the relationship with ACORN, an organisation whose been found regitration fraud. In Lake County, Indiana officier have found more than 2,100 bogus application among 5000 Acorn dumped right before dead line. Nevada Clark's County Registrar of Voter Larry Lomax said he saw rampant fraud in 2,000 to 3,000 ACORN submit weekly. County election board of Bridgeprt, Connecticut estimates 20% of ACORN registration were faulty. More states are now looking to regitration submitted by Acorn. The Obama's campain paid $832,000 to an ACORN affiliate. The campaign initially told the Federal Election Commission the money was for "staging, sounds,and lighting". It later admitted the cash was get out the vote. The Obama Campaign is now distancing itself from Acorn, claiming Mr Obama never organozed with it and had nothing to do with illegal voter registration. Yet it's disingenuous to channel cash into an organization with ahistory of fraud and then later said you're shock to discover reports of frauds. As with Rev Wright and Ayers, Mr Obam was happy to associate with Acorn when it suited his purposes. But, now he is on the brink of the presidency, he want to disavow his ties.
