I collect cookbooks of all kinds. I have started collecting cookbooks from the freebie sites as well. Does anyone else have a cookbook collection? I am collecting them and it will eventualy go to my daughter. Does anyone collect things that you will hand down for your family?

I love collecting cook books. i suggest going to garage sales or places such as goodwill. You can pick up old ones very very cheap. They still have mouth watering recipes that people remember from their child home. But not many people make anymore. I love making recipe from an old cook book. Do you have freebie cookbook links to share? Or know here I can go fill out to get some for myself.

I check out all the freebies sites. I dont really use just ones. I have found that you find different ones at all the sites. I would suggest signing up for the freebie emails. You will know each time , a new one is out!

I don't have anyone to hand them down to my friend, even if I did collect things which I don't, to be honest I go for the minimalistic approach and don't want any clutter, including books etc. I am not a cook either so cookbooks wouldn't be of any use to me. But I am glad my mum has cookbooks because she is a wonderful cook and has made some wonderful meals for the family. I am sure your daughter will truly appreciate the cookbooks my friend or should I say my sister ;0)

Thats great that your mum is such a good cook. I think my daughter will like them because she is always looking for new ways to cook something different. I am not collecting anything else because of the lack os space to store it.I have collected about 70 now and shes getting some for Christmas too!

I was collecting all sorts of things and my latest collection consists of dozens of small decorated wooden easter eggs. However, I am now tired of collecting things and I want to declutter my house. My family don't want anything as they too are getting rid of their clutter. My daughter and myself are taking all our clutter to a car boot sale next Sunday. Whatever we don't sell will be given away for free on the recycle sites. We all want clutter free homes so our collecting days are over.
