Does your husband mow the lawn or do you? My husband wants to be the only one to do it. I don't mind but I would like to try the riding mower sometime. Some of our neighbor's wives mow their lawn. Do you?

My husband mows the lawn, and even when I offer to mow, he tells me I won't be able to push it! I'm small, but I know I could push it. So I think when we get our riding one, i'll be mowing the lawn and he can sit inside and watch the kids!

Isn't if funny how our husbands under estimate us at times?

Yes it is, but I can't wait till I can prove him wrong! He also says I can't cooked so when I cooked Salisbury steak the other night, he couldn't believe it! It's only a matter of time before I prove to him that I can mow the lawn too!

Most of the time I mow. My husband will mow if I ask him, but I am home more and he doesn't really like to do yard work. We have a push mower so it is hard work sometimes. I think if you want to mow you should be able to. It's not that hard especially with a riding mower.

My husband mows the lawn. I would like to sometime, but with the mower that we have it is a bit hard to use and my husband would rather me have a user friendly one. So until we need a new one my husband will continue to be the one that mows the lawn.

My husband is like yours. He doesn't want me to mow the lawn. I have told him that I could do it, but he always says no. He has a certain way he wants it mowed. I wouldn't mind mowing it when it is nice outside to catch some rays.

we mow our lawn with a tractor and my husband does it about 4 times a year. The Llamas eat it during the summer.

I generally mow my own lawn or my dad comes over with the riding lawn mower to do it for me. I'm not married so no husband to do it.

At one time or the other in our 53 years of marriage, each of us has had the job of mowing the lawn. My husband has had the job most frequently. After our lives settled down and both of us were here all the time, he mowed the yard and I took care of the flower beds and/or vegetable garden. For the last couple of years, a lawn service has mowed and trimmed. I still take care of the flower beds and the vegetable garden. I will be 74 in a few days, and my husband is 6 1/2 years older.

My husband usually mows the lawn. I also have two sons and they are all in competition over it so I don't even go there. I work in my flower garden and leave it to them to battle out. On rare occasions I have mowed it and actually enjoy it but maybe that secret is better left unsaid! LOL
