moving along at a clipping pace....

Why is it when I am moving along at a fairly good clip of a pace and minding my own business I might add, someone comes along entering my life and upsetting one of the few things I hold precious. For instance my children. Others think they can do better than I? Others may as well stay home bound and out my children's affairs. What goes around comes around. Is this type of thing happening to others. When I want help I'll ask for it. Your feelings on this.

There are family members of mine who drive me crazy because when they come around I have to "walk on eggshells" to keep them from giving me their "best advice" on a lot of issues and how they know my life would be better if I heed their opinions. I avoid these kinds of confrontations by not bringing up certain topics around them or by avoiding their company altogether. I view these kinds of people as pushy and rude, even though they may think they are doing me a favor by intruding in my life.
