Do you decide everything you do in your life or do you ask for advice?

I haven't tried asking for advice on what to do with my life. Maybe if I had done it, my life would have been better. I live a day to day life without asking help from other people because I am content with what little I have. I have lost a lot of opportunities because I decide everything and don't ask for advice from people who know better.
If I had known that asking for help and advice is good, I wouldn't have hesitated. People are better off when they seek advice from other people. Success comes from how one interacts with other people. While you are younger let other people help you. If your friend gives you a piece of advice, wight the pros and cons then go for it if it is good. Don't turn deaf ears to what other people have to say. It's always nice to listen to good pieces of advice......

I believe in the Biblical principle that "With Many adviser, you will succeed"..if i have to make some major decision, would rather solicit advice from a mentor or a more experienced people before deciding it myself

Advice has been helpful. And there are people I trust to give me good advice. I do consider what they say. But ultimately the decisions are mine. I am responsible for the outcome at any rate.

There are things that I ask for advice and things that I decide for myself. It depends on the situation. When I am at a loss of what to do, I usually ask a couple of people for advice and take the best suggestion or mix in a couple of suggestions from everybody depending on what will work for me. But sometimes when people are judgemental about somebody else and try to influence me with what they think about someone, that's when I don't take their advice. I just take it in one ear and let it out through the other. I don't like to be judgemental of anybody because the same person might behave different ways in different situations according to their temperament.

That's a hard choice. For me I need both, In critical situation I must use myself to decide what must I do. But if I have much time to get some advice from other people. So I will ask for it, because more choice or alternative solution will make our decision become well.

when i know i can handle the situation or my problem very well, i try my best to decide on my own because i don't want to be forever dependent on others. but when i really can't find any way to solve my problem, i ask advices from those people close to me. first, i try to tell my parents and ask them about what should i do. if i think my friends could help me more, i ask them instead of my parents. there are some things that are better shared to friends. I don't ask for much advise for my life but when it comes to my children, I do get alot of advise. I ask for the simple fact that I want to make the best decision possible for them and I feel that it only benifits me to get different thoughts on situations that involve them. I ask doctors, friends, and look online to compare opinions to facts and then make my decision.

Though I decide many things in my life based on my own judgment and knowledge, still I seek advice of my elders and friends when I face a critical problem that shocks me most. I do also realize that asking for advice can certainly help in arriving at best choices and options in dealing with many day-to-day personal and professional problems and issues. Thanks.

Sometimes I ask for advice but I still make the decisions myself.
