hi mylotter! i was wondering about it this morning.. i was thinking, if appreciate the songs of today very much, will i still appreciate the songs of young ones when i reach the adulthood stage like mid 40's? maybe if the songs are being played on the radio that has been composed during my young adult stages i would definitely be dancing or singing to it. another question will be if i have a child and plays songs that i have firstly heard would i also say something like this to my child "how come you liked the song when it doesn't say anything with sense?". this is what our parents and relatives tell us when we play songs that don't jive their interest.. hahaha! how about you? will you care to join your child to the music that he/she plays? do you think you will still love the beat? happy posting and happy mylotting!

Hi skbh, I can see that to my Parents, in-laws that whenever the songs of their time will be played, they will sing with it sincerely and with all the feelings and most of the time, I can see myself joining them because I will be influence by the way they are happy about it.LOL! ANyway, it will make me even happy to hear songs when I was in my teens and how much more when I will be in my 50 or 60 and hearing the songs back, I am sure it will bring a lot of memories!

Hi skbh12 I probably would still like the songs in the future. I have several songs from as far as 1960 in my ipod. Since I love music, I know I'll never get tired of them. What will happen is I'll just keep adding to my virtual collection of music. If I do have kids, I'd love to share my music with them and I hope that do share theirs with me as well. It would be a great way of bonding.
