Would you give up your child if they weren't perfect to you?

I was watching discovery health adoption story and this woman was giving up her little boy because she didn't like the way he looked at all. I don't understand, he looked so cute to me, but she just didn't want nothing to do with him so she gave him up. I think it was for the better, he got two lesbian mothers to adopt him then a few months later the biological mother wants him back. The mother didn't get him back though because she signed a contract saying she gave up rights and she had either 24 to 48 hours to change her mind, but she choose to give him up. I would never give my baby up like that unless there was a good reason.

Some people just should not be allowed to have children. How terrible for this child! I hope nobody ever tells him that his mother was so shallow she made the decision to give him up based on his looks. I also hope the couple that adopted him will tell him he is special and valuable just because of who he is, and that no perceived flaw in his outword appearance can change that. God does not make mistakes. Some people don't know a good thing when they have it.

That is absolutely horrible. I am glad she didn't get him back. After giving him up for a reason like that she didn't deserve him back. I'm sure she wouldn't have treated him right. I hope he has a happy life in the future with his two mommies. and I hope he never finds out why his birthmother gave him up.

well im pregnant right now with twins and im planning on giving them up for adoption but not for a dumb reason like that. im not financially stable right now and the reason i got pregnant was because the birth control didnt work. but i dont see it as a bad thing because hopefully they will go to a family that can give them what they want and love them as if they were theyres.
