Much of our work is done using computers and we have lot of young engineers budding out every year. But we need to take a pause. Are we going to thrive in this software field forever??? Will it face a peak downfall or can we sustain and survive in this field forever??? Care to drop in ur responses here Take care

Yes, surely IT is one of the better options to choose.I think you are in a little bit of doubt about your career in IT field but IT industry is the evergreen sector. I ma also persuing my software engineering with computer science branch and I see quite bright future for me.Although I have to wait for one or two years because of the global downfalls in markets but still there are a lot of chances. The growth rate in IT sector is very high and you get enough chances to sustain in this industry. So in my opinion IT is not a bad option at all.

Exactly yes I've been offered a job in a reputed company. But still have not received my DOJ due to the economic crisis. My friends who have taken up some other core in engineering have started working in their core companies, not much of them are prefering IT right now. But this happens to be my core. Anyways, feel better after seeing the responses. Thanks!! Cheers

Hi Yes, we have to take the help of computers. With the increase in population the service sector will find a bottle neck to tackle problems and so to help his/her work one has to take the help of computer. Computers has to stay and to upgrade itself as per our requirement otherwise it is us who will face the music. Parthag

We should keep learning continuously in this field. Before we complete one, that will be outdated and a new software will come in markets. So learning things becomes a never ending process especially for people in this field. Cheers
