Side Effect of LCD!! Is this true?

Hi,
I hear some people say that LCD is giving out nitrogen gas. LCD also creates higher temperature to the environment. This is causing pollution to our environment.
Is LCD really give problems to our environment?

Flat screen Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), provides 70% power saving over CRT. LCD also runs cooler that of CRT, thus saving air conditioning. Considering these two facts from HP (Hewlett Packard), i think its more eco-friendly than its counter part.

i dont think so lcd is creating problems if it creates the problems why the people will use much . and also the government also will take some preventive measures to avoid it..so these are all the dam things to believe ... so guys take it easy!!!!
