When was the last time you cried watching a movie?

I don't know but I can't easily cry watching a tear-jerker movie. Maybe because I know that the people in the movie are only actors and actresses and they are there to make you cry. However, some people have shallow tears that could easily cry at the slightest sight of drama. How about you?

i'm a big cryer when it comes to movies. even books make me cry. i love movies so much and i get easily carried away when i'm watching one. i remember one time i was watching THE SIXTH SENSE. i went alone coz i wasn't able to drag somebody with me that day. it's bad enough that the airconditioning inside the movie theatre is so cold that i can't help but shake violently with every scary scene. it got worse when i had to gripped the arms of my seat to prevent myself from crying out loud at the near end of the movie. my eyes were welling up and i can't believe i went alone coz it would have been a lot better to have someone there to share that very touching scene and not be embarrassed by it.
for me, to fully enjoy a movie you have to completely immersed yourself in every scene and forget that those in the screen are just actors acting out their roles. let the movie serve its purpose. that is to entertain and tell a story. there's nothing like coming out of the moviehouse and feeling satiated and inspired by the movie. sometimes, it makes you look at things differently especially if it really touched you. well, that's just my thought.

I don't cry over movies too often any more. I have realized that there are real things to cry about! But I did recently watch a movie called "The Memory keepers Daughter" a Lifetime original movie that made me cry a lot! My now ex husband came home from work and there I was sitting on the couch crying with tissues in my lap and tissues in my hand. He came is and said "what happend?" He was so afraid that some thing terriable happened! I pointed to the TV and tried to say the movie was sad! He laughed at me! Because he knows I don't cry over movies! Anyway so in a way I can say I do cry over movies but it has to be a REAL tear jerker!
