ABSOLUTELY!
I believe it is far less necessary to travel and I am constantly amazed by the pressure on people to actually go to meetings in other parts of the country/world when the technology is there to allow you to see and participate without having to leave your office. If everyone 'tele-commuted' there would be far less pollution, congestion and travelling would become enjoyable again for holidays rather than for business. It is just amazing to be able to use provgrammes like Skype and ring my friend in Australia and chat for hours for FREE! It used to cost a fortune to make international calls and now it is effectively free. Yes I cannot believe it! Plus the World Wide Web makes accessing information anywhere in the world so eacy. No longer do you have to travel to the library in the other side of the world you can log in within seconds! Absolutely incredible and I love it!
