No bake cookies

I am planning on making some no bake oatmeal cookies today too. I have a recipe to make them with and without chocolate. Have you ever had not bake cookies? Do you like to make them? I like them with and without chocolate. Both contain peanut butter though.

I've never had or made no bake cookies. They sound rather interesting. I will go on the net and find a recipe. My oven is acting funny, so no bake anything would be good for me
I have been using my turbo cooker to bake chicken in. I did look up some recipes for no bake cakes, but haven't tried it yet.

i am familiar to those no bake cakes and cookies. i think it taste good. actually, i have one box of mix of no-bake chocolate chip cookies in our cabinet. it is easy to make. you just have to add a little amount of water and then make balls from the batter. then put it in the oven toaster pan. then cook it in the oven toaster for about 3 minutes.

That is not quite what I was referring to. With no bake cookies you cook the stuff on the stove top before mixing in oatmeal and then drop it on to waxed paper to cool.
CHOCOLATE NO - BAKE COOKIES
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 heaping tbsp. cocoa
Bring to a boil and boil 1 1/2 minutes, then remove from heat and add:
2 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
I add a little more oatmeal than it calls for and they turn out fine.

I love nobake cookies. I make them alot in the winter. I just had them about 2 weeks ago without the chocolate. I didn't like them without the chocolate that much.... of course, I still ate them, but think that the chocolate ones are 100 times better.

I have had no bake cookies. But never made them. They were good. Most of the cookies I get these days, my sister in law makes.

Yes I do. Last month I made cookies using corn flakes, raisins and honey. It is delicious with sprinkled icing sugar. I think I finish the whole cookie jar myself.
