Whether you write fiction or non-fiction, grammar and punctuation are very important. With fiction, learning the correct way to do dialog is good. Also, capturing the readers interest in the first few paragraphs is important. I write mostly flash fiction...with it a twist at the end is fun. For non-fiction, write about things you know first. This will be easier and you'll gain confidence in yourself. Submit stuff to Associated Content, or Helium. They are easy to use. Blogs are easier because you can pretty much do whatever you want. My favorite blog is my fiction blog. Ask any specific questions and I'll be glad to help. I'm not really that successful compared to other writers I know, but I am trying.

Today.com is a bloggin site so it's definitely easier than Associated Content. They pay 1.00 for one post a day, and then some for page views also.

Yeah, and remember with today.com you can pre-date the posts. You could do a whole weeks worth and put them on in one day.

It's still just 1.00 for one post a day. It's not hard for me to do two posts, so I went ahead with the second blog. I write for all kinds of different places. I'm probably spreading myself too thin.

I never received an email from them about either blog. I just went to the site and signed in. Everything was set up and ready to go. Alot of people don't get the notification emails.
