Who Should Play Freddy Krueger In Michael Bay's Remake?

Do you have an actor in mind who could take on the role of Freddy Krueger as well as Robert Englund in all of the Elm Street films to date? I don't know that there is any one actor out there that comes to mind who could play Freddy the way Englund did...but maybe that's the point. If they are going to re-make the Elm Street movie, maybe they need to do it in a completely new way...and so someone new might bring a whole new life to this character. So who do you think could do it? Who could make Freddy Krueger work on the big screen this next go around? I would love to see someone who can really play him darkly the way he appeared in the first Elm Street.
