As opposed to drinking stuff like milk and juice? Specifically what kind of things can be prevented or helped by drinking more water daily? And how much water are we supposed to drink daily?

Your body is made up of 72% water. You need it just to live. Plus, water is good for the brain because it's another source of oxygen. Sometime if you feel confused or its getting hard to concentrate on something drink a glass of water it will help. And, you are supposed to drink like 8 full glasses of water a day...more is better.

They say that we have a significant amount of water than anything else in our body. Take for example the brain which need 20%(as several health resources have stated) of water. The skin is good when regularly supplied by the right amount. Aside from that, the blood and kidney is in good shape when we drink regularly. It also cools the body I believe.

Drinking water, almost 3 liters a day,is good for health. It increases the metabolism rate and maintains the condition of kidney and intestine. It is also regarded as a healer to some skin problems, like having pimples.
