My 18 birthday is coming this saturday. Oct. 18 and I want to serve pasta. I like to cook Carbonara or Fettuccine by myself. Could someone please give me a nice recipe? I would be very glad for helping me and sharing your recipe. Thanks in advance!

I've tried the reciepe with the egg yolks before but from Malto Mario .... yummy! another good recipe to try is Alfredo sauce... That's my favorite -- I usually go to Olive Garden on my birthday for Fettuccine Alfredo every year. Happy Birthday!

I found this recipe for you, and it looks pretty easy: PASTA CARBONARA source: http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1835,150169-224194,00.html 1 lb. cooked spaghetti 1/2 lb. crisp cooked bacon, crumbled 4 eggs 1/4 c. butter 1 c. Parmesan cheese 1/4 c. whipping cream 1 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 c. parsley Pepper to taste Let eggs, butter, cheese, whipping cream stand at room temperature for 2 hours. Then while spaghetti is cooking, mix eggs with whipping cream until thoroughly mixed. Place large oven proof dish in warm oven until hot. Drain spaghetti; remove dish from oven and place spaghetti and butter into it. Mix. Pour egg and cream mixture into spaghetti and stir until well coated. Add remaining ingredients, stir and serve immediately.
