I am just suffocated with toxic air around almost wherever I go especially in the city..Aren't you? How can we minimize it if not to prevent it from aggravating? What are your ways to minimize air pollution? Please share so that many will be enlightened. Thanks in advance.

Saving energy helps reduce air pollution. Whenever you burn fossil fuel, you pollute the air. Use less gasoline, natural gas, and electricity (power plants burn fossil fuels to generate electricity): Turn off the lights when you leave a room Replace energy hungry incandescent lights with fluorescent lighting Check with your utility company for energy conservation tips, like purchasing energy saving appliances. Use a thermostat that automatically turns off the air conditioner or heater when you don't need them Add insulation to your home Use a fan instead of air conditioning Heat small meals in a microwave oven Install low flow showerheads Dry your clothes on a clothesline ... and many others :D

Well, Air pollution is becoming a major problem these days. Plant deciduous trees in locations around your home to provide shade in the summer, but to allow light in the winter. Connect your outdoor lights to a timer or use solar lighting. Wash clothes with warm or cold water instead of hot. Lower the thermostat on your water heater to 120°F. There are many ways to prevent air pollution. Some are so simple that you may not even think of them. Others are a bit more demanding. There are two very important ways to prevent air pollution – try to drive less and be a smart driver. Cutting down on trips by car can help cut vehicle air pollution. With gasoline prices being so high recently, many people have chosen to go less distance for their summer vacations.
