How do I post links?

Can anyone tell me how I can post links here on mylot? Whenever I do this it doesn't automatically link to the page I want. I don't see any link functions on the mylot code either. Please help! Thanks!

just avoid posting links on the posts because it may decrease ur repution n rating...i think so tht i m right btw u r much experienced than me here on mylot as i m a newbie...but i feel like tht n posting links may also sometime rejected by mylot system!!!

To post a link you should start it with the "http" prefix... but isn't it bad to post a link?
