I have but 13 years to go before I reach 60. MY friends are in their 60's so I could imagine myself when I am 60. I will be taking care of grandchildren and will be very happy with them as I watch them grow. 60 isn't yet too old. I go swimming with my 60's friends and we enjoy a lot of activities together. 60 is the time when one is free from any responsibility and this is the time when one should enjoy life more. there is no fear at all when one reaches 60. People in their 60's are still strong and not yet senile. But that really depends on how one would handle his or her life. But as far as I know, the people I know who are in their 60's are all doing fine. They are still strong, alive and merry people. And that is how I look at myself at 60. Share us how you imagine yourself at 60.........

I have 12 years before I reach 60 and I hope that I am like my in-laws. They are well into their 60's and yet they both have the energy of a 30 year old. Heck, they have more energy than me. I don't believe I will be as active as they are. My mother was still very active when she was 60, although she has started walking on a cane after falling and breaking her hip a few years ago. She has a lot of medical problems and my sister and I worry a lot about her but in her 60's she was still going strong. I for one, just hope and pray that I live to see 60 and further. I hope to be able to have fun with my children and hopefully any grandchildren I will have. I have fun with my sister's grandchildren who I have adopted and love to go to their games and such. I only hope that by the time I have grandchildren of my own, I can still enjoy such experiences. As long as I am, for the most part, healthy and able to do for myself, and my husband is the same way, I will be very happy.

I think that I can roughly picture what I'm going to be like at 60! I will probably have lost my hair by then! I will definitely have given up on the cooking side of things and will just use the microwave to heat up ready meals! And, being the fitness freak that I am I hope that I will be continuing to use my Gazelle Freestyle machine! I'm 33 years of age and I think that whatever you do now really counts to how you will eventually end up at 60! If you are mobile now and do regular exercise then there's a good chance that you will still remain active come your sixtieth birthday! But, as everyone knows, you don't know what is around the corner and I don't mean for this to sound negative in anyway. Happy 60th birthday for when you get there. Andrew

I am approaching 60 now and I feel great, I am looking forward to being able to retire and enjoy life. Where I live now we are at a lost for jobs, they are scarce here and unemployment is high. The way I see 60 is I am blessed that I will be able to draw a check soon my house is paid for, my car is paid for, so life for me is settling down as far the younger generation they have a long way to go and it doesn't seem to be a way out.
