How to Increase traffic to your site?

Do you know any tips to increase the traffic to your website??.I think posting the contents to some social network communities will do some favour. the ultimate thing is search engine optimisation itself.ie find ways to optimize your blog for search engines. i have a blog www.pixelshots.co.nr for photography. i am experimenting with seo now. i found adding some keywords within metatags is useful. I have used dozens of methods to increase traffic, but all require work/time. But now applying SEO methods - hopefully less work. I document these methods in a post - How to increase visitors to your blog (In my Mylot profile). Though twitter might offer a popular method for visitors...
