I think It is Windows Xp Service Pack 2 which is simply superb the features are quite to make it simply good enough previously the best one was windows 98 pro so guys n girls what do u think which was the best operating system u used waiting 4 all replies HAPPY MYLOTTING

i think mac has a very good interface and is fun to use and in my opinion is the most attractive of opperating systems. infact the next laptop i get is going to be an apple mac

I run Ultima Linux on most of my Computers (www.ultimalinux.com) I dont have time to deal with Spy Ware and Virus... I still like Windows 2000 Pro for all my windows needs.

Well with my experiences I have to currently say that Windows Vista is currently the best and most stable Operating system on the market today. I currently have no problems and no crashes with Windows Vista and my system is on 24/7 I do reboot with the automatic updates that take place over time.

Unix/Linux is the best for stability and low system requirements. Servers and other business-critical systems run better on Unix from my own experience, and most are switching to Linux for the cost savings. Windows is still best for me for everything else, because there are many things that only can be done on Windows, especially games and software applications that I use. Windows is not the best or most efficient OS though. Far from it.
