I was thinking of families i know that the parents smoke a lot of Pot what do u all think about parents who have children and smoking pot regularly????
My opinion is as long as their kids dont know they do and all the parents bills are getting paid and kids are getting what they need then it is all up to them

I know 2 people who used to smoke pot a lot, one is slightly psycho, and one has no short term memory whatsoever, so regardless of how you feel at the time, it has long term effects that should also be considered.

But not all are like that back in the day my dad use to smoke all the time and he hasnt for a long time but nuttin is wrong with him so it doesnt affct everyone in the same way

I would say it is ok as long as you don't do it around the kids much. Especially if they are old enough to understand what is going on. I mean, it might not help them get through high school if they started smoking because dad does. But I think it should be ok with restraint.

thank you and i would like to clear this up seeing i started this conversation I DO NOT SMOKE POT i use to when iw as younger but got smart somewhere along the road

OK, coming from an ex pothead...As long as bills are being paid, and the kids are not going without, or being exposed to it, then really who cares? Granted, tokin' up just before heading out for the mall or the grocery store with the kids would not be acceptable, but a quick bong hit or two after the kids hit the hay shouldn't be a problem. Honestly if it were legalized, the street value would drop considerably, and the financial problem involved would no longer be a problem anyway.

I agree it shouldnt be a big huge deal so long as kids are in bed Deffinatly not when you need to drive them around someplace or if you have to funcion to take care of them thru out the day. I use to smoke pot all the time but soon as i found out i was going to be a mommy i quit and so maybe i see both sides of it i dunno

I think smoking around children is irresponsible. A childs brain is always developing and smoke hinders brain growth greatly.

ok i know some people that smoke pot and have kids but they will only smoke outside and not around their kids at all so how is that effecting the child?????
