Be honest now! Ever picked your nose then eaten it???

Hi jstmarfz, it seems I missed your response before so sorry for that! Yeah it's gross but kids will always do whatever it is they do without really thinking about how disgusting it actually is! lol. I pick my nose too on occasion but I have never had an infection? Maybe I'm not digging deep enough for that gold? Thanks for your response.

Hahaha just to make sure that I got all the gold! That leads to bleeding of my nose! Can't stop it! hahaha. Its better to have clean nose than clog nose. lol

I guess so! One must suffer to achieve nasal perfection!

Oh, no question it's gross donsky but what you have just described with the situation with your Dad makes my question sound tame! I don't know WHAT I'd do if that happened to me but I am sure I would be brushing my teeth for at least a few hours straight! lol. Thanks for responding.

Maybe the nose hair picking was a walk in the park for me. Sure you do not still once in while indulge in the ready made snacks once a hile on the sly James? Now what would be those childhood behaviours you wish you had never let go?

The childhood innocence and an appreciation for things I take for granted today is what I wish I had of held on to alok! We tend to become somewhat jaded with the world on many levels as we age.

This behaviour was a childhood quirk alok but compared to nose hair plucking it was a walk in the park from what I can remember! I don't think I tagged this to any particular meal time as a child either and probably saw it more as a ready-made snack! There are many behaviours I had as a child that I wish I had never let go of but I can assure you that this is NOT one of them! lol. Thank you as always for your response.

Oh I don't know 4magoo, I think many of us would prefer to be a picker and eater rather than a politician! But it does seem you have yourself covered if it ever came up! Thankfully I have never encountered a pick and flicker and I hope to God I never do either! lol. Thanks for responding.

Finally! Hat's off to you trudy for standing tall and telling it how it is! lol. I too used to do this when I was a child and my Mother used to get quite upset with me and tell me that my head would cave in if I didn't stop! AS for your BF picking YOUR nose?? Now THAT's gross! haha. Thanks for responding and keep telling your BF the same advice you shared over and over for goodness sake!

I am sure you wouldn't dawnald! The kleenex approach is definitely the way to go but as you have said' no witnesses can sometimes mean no self-awasreness and anything's possible! Thanks for responding.

PS the couth way to do it is to blow it into a kleenex first. You don't use your fingers, that's just bad manners...

Goodness me Wizzywig! I think you may have upped the ante with all this talk of bedpans, commodes and sick bowls etc! lol. Kids will be kids I guess and they never really consider the gross factor of what they are doing at all. Thankfully I don't see it all that often so I don't have to be concerned with whether it makes me want to retch or not. If anything though it can be a little amusing when kids stand there so innocently with their finger halfway into their own head via the nostril! Thanks for responding.

Well at least you have a job with a number of surprises each day Wizzywig! Maybe not the type of surprises that we would generally think of but surprises nonetheless!

Ah, well now, I actually have 2 jobs..... I do 3 days on the hospital ward & then do supply teaching in nursery/reception classes so I get to experience the whole range of gross-ness. (A confused patient peed in the linen room today.....)
