For those who are interested in the other parties, or for those who may already be supporting the democratic or republican party and just want a look at what the others are at least saying, there is a debate to be aired on C-span Sunday night with those "other candidates" It will include: independent Ralph Nader, the Green Party's Cynthia McKinney and the Constitution Party's Chuck Baldwin. Libertarian Party nominee Bob Barr said he has a scheduling conflict, but debate organizers say he wanted to appear only with Nader. Democratic nominee Barack Obama and Republican nominee John McCain are also invited. Please at least tune in and hear these guys out. You can't say you've looked at all the options if you haven't heard the others postions on things and here is a great chance to do that.

We non-American are also following your election closely especially in the Mid-east where we hope a new president will bring a change to the current situation. The whole world is sick of George Bush

We non-Americans are following your elections closely too as U.S. policies always impact other parts of the world. The general opinion is that nobody can make a bigger mess of it than Bush already has

See, now that is part of the problem. Unless you are the Demo or Repub candidate of choice you aren't given the same exposure. I don't see why this debate isn't going to be on ABC, NBC & CBS just like the other ones...unless the parties are responsible for paying the airtime? Anyone know if the Demo's and Repub's pay airtime for their debates?

The main debates were sponsored by the media outlets I think. this one I'm not sure who is sponsoring it, it may be the university.

I don't think should be allowed. If someone or something wants to sponser debates, then it should be for all the candidates not just for the the main two parties. No wonder none of the other parties ever stand a chance - some people don't even know they exist.

Geeze now I have to figure out which channel is C-span. Think they have C-span in HD? lol Just kidding I'm sure no one wants to see politicans in HD. I will watch it as long as I kill everyone in my house first ( you do know that is the night that the real FOX shows cartoons don't you?) Thanks for the information.

lol, no problem, may I suggest a less violent and much less messy way to see it? It will be streamed online on c-spans website in all likelyhood. I'm holding you to watching it now by the way, your stuck with it, expect a quiz. ;)
