I finally watched Tuesday's espisode of House last night.
First, House's attitude reminded me of what I suspect is going to be mine when my mom dies provided that I even get invited to the funeral.
Second, it is amusing that Wilson and House's friendship started with House bailing Wilson out of jail, and then lying that the matter was taken care of. And why bail out someone he did not know---because Wilson wasn't boring. Exactly something House would do alright.
Third, I always suspected that Wilson was going to come back. House needs a foil. I just wasn't sure how they (the writers) were going to pull it off.
Wilson's line of you can't chose your parents and your friends reminded me a great deal of my own life. (Dont get me started on either.)
I am glad that Wilson is back. Are you?

So glad! I thought he kind of forgave him a little abruptly with all Wilson had said in the previous episode, but I think the line of you can't chose your friends probably explained it well. I read an interview with the actors who portray House and Wilson, and they are hilarious. Now if only Cameron and Chase would have a better storyline. Or any storyline at all. I would gladly get rid of Thirteen and the short guy to give more time to Foreman, Cameron, and Chase.

There have been hints that Wilson was going to come back. An disclosed amount of time has passed---lets presume a summer that happened between the seasons. The private eye mentioned that there are only two things that you do not talk about: things that do not matter and really important things. The very fact that Wilson did not move to the other side of the country said a lot.
I imagine that it was hard on Wilson, who had to be alone in his grief. And I think that House has him pegged; he is always prepared for the worst.
Yeah, I miss Chase and Cameron. Out of the new team, Thirteen would be the one to go if I had to choose; she is just not developed enough for me to care if she leaves. Given the commericals for the next espisode, we may get to see her leave, or they may develop her character more.

It has been ages since I last watched House. I would sure be glad to watch this show again, it might not happen for a long time yet. Cheers!!

Your post is so great. As in I am excited to watch the episode now. Actually, I was a bit sad about Wilson quitting his friendship with House. Anyways, I knew that Wilson will not forever hibernate. Thank you for posting this.
