McCain's health plan problems

Last night Barack Obama pointed out many of the truck size holes in McCain's Health Care program. If I was McCain, I would stop talking about this plan, I would ignor all questions about it, and I would replace it with a Wilford Grimsley infomercial. Last night Barack Obama destroyed McCain's health care plan, and pointed out that this health care plan would actually be a tax increase on almost every American. The part that most of us don't understand is how much this tax increase would be. Because the plan would be taxed on the Value of the plan, there are Americans that could pay thousands of dollars in taxes for their current health plan. What do you think?

Last night Obama just continued his routine of lying about McCain's health care plan by claiming people would be getting a $5,000 tax credit while losing a $12,000 health insurance plan. That was a lie and a complete load of crap. ""In general, lower-income people with health insurance would receive benefits from the credit that would be well in excess of the value that they receive from today’s tax exemption. The gains are much smaller for higher-income people."" http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/774/ The simple fact is, that people would be paying TAXES on their current employer paid benefits, not footing the bill for the entire plan as Obama said. Those taxes would be easily offset by the tax credit with the exception of those who as McCain said, had "gold-plated" plans. Of course under Obama anyone with that kind of wealth would just watch their taxes go through the roof so they certainly wouldn't be benefiting from anything Obama would do.
