today he has broken brian lara's record.it was wonderful.ponting had made a comment that they will stop him from doing so but he has proved all of them wrong and showed the world that he can still play for more years.now he is leading run-scorer in tests and odis.it was nice celebration around the ground.everybody congratulated him.now he may also pass 12,000 runs also.he has played for the country and helped india to win many matches.he will do in future also.evry now and then,he has shut his critics' mouth.though his style of playing has changed due to age,he can play and help india to win matches.
