Have you ever experience thinking of doing something in which you think of another at thesame time? This thing bothers me a lot since I have too many responsibilities in my work and in my family. Sometimes I want to finish other task but the call of another one interferes, but both of them needs to be finish at thesame time. Sometimes again I want to buy something for myself but the feeling of saving for much expensive one bugging me off. althogh I tried to discipline my self to think straight and choose just one, still it leads me to think twice. As some folks say's that "no one can sail a boat at two different rivers". I think this is normal in our lives, only that conflicting ideas often leads a person to commit mistakes, and blame himself at the end. Do you have thesame experiences of conflicting desires that made you commit some mistakes?

It happens to me a lot. I have a tendency of doing things in a last minute that all my responsibilities were gathered. Sometimes i even don't know what to do first. So far so good I passed and done all of them but i would never do it again.

If you have an open mind and the will to do so, no work is harder for you. But it takes time and practiced before evrything will done perfectly as ordered. Thanks for the response, LOL.......

Hi Omar, I think you just need to prioritize your life. If you have two or more things to do, then consider each one and make a decision on the order of them. You cannot do everything at once so you decide which really needs to be done first. There will be at least one reason why one should be done first. When it comes to something you want, again, decide which you want most if only one can be had. Be patient with yourself and your needs. By doing this, you will be so much happier. Does this make sense to you? leenie

It really made sense, thanks leenie50. But as you can see its hard to work with my bosses, that means I have three bosses that ordered me to do some work for them, and the problem is sometimes they will say "prioritized this" and most of their orders comes at thesame time and had to be done at thesame time as well. That really made my mind cofused on where to begin, but to tell you the truth, I don't have pending works for them.

it's all about priority ^_^ As long as u know very clearly what is the most important thing to u at the very moment, u will get it done straight away without any 2nd thoughts ^_^ ANd if u were to sway about in your thinkings, it means that, u still dunno what u really want in life.. It's ok if u are still young.. But as u grow older, u will need to really sort it out clearly because any mistakes there, is gonna cost u dearly ^_^

Thanks for the advice, I'll try to make things work correctly this time. You know my boss, when he ordered me some works he always says " prioritized all of it ". What I do, I just smile and say "I will".

Hmmmm... when it comes to multi-tasking I guess it is essential to practice time management so that you'll know what or where to go first. As to prioritizing what to purchase, I guess, it is essential to know what your budget is and your financial goals so that you won't get confused.

Youre right time management is what I lack. My boss always wants to rush things out, but this time I can do multi tasking as fast as before and from choosing what to buy is where I always get confused, so whenever I have big cash I choosed to bought the expensive one.

That happens but I would usually take some time deciding which should be done first or done next. I eventually end doing things one at a time.

I experience this a lot. I do have a lot of conflicting responsibilities. We all do make mistakes. I think these mistakes help us make decisions, so as not to commit the same mistake again or know what to do the next time a similar situation occurs. I can't really share my experiences in detail but, my advice is that we should maintain our composure at all times. Think first before acting or saying anything. If we had to choose between two things, think about the short term and long term consequences, that way we can weigh on which one to choose.

Thanks bro! This time after my boss ordered some works from me, I then ask him what time and date did he need those. By that I can divide my working time to finish all his orders, but sometimes really he has orders that needs to be finished at thesame time. Verry conflicting is'nt it?

if U didn't feel the desires conflicting, only then it wouldn't be normal; it means U prioritise those desires at the same level
