A professional player who got paralysed did a suicide with the help of others. Do you agree with assisted suicide? Are they culprit of a homicide?

no, I do not agree unto it or killing someone although they will tell that it is a "Mercy Killing" that they would tell but it is still a homicide or what do you called it though but it is still a Sin to take and do such things in your hand.

I think that people should have a choice in how they die, if they are ill. I think it should be written ahead of time, by the person, whether or not they want help ending their life, should their illness reach a certain point. If i was on life support, and had no quality in life, or would be in constant pain for the rest of my days, I would want my life to end. I can say that now, being of sound mind, and would sign a paper saying so, should this ever come up in the future.

They all including the one who was paralyzed are guilty of murder. The assistants could have told him no, that he could have become a coach or told them how he became paralyzed so that other players would not make the same mistake. I presume it was while he was playing. His life was not over. If he was depressed he should have gotten help, not take the easy way out. The ones who helped should have helped him by finding a care giver, doing things for him, get someone to show him how to get around. Instead they decided to kill him.

Hi ronald, Wow! You do come up with some controversial topics don't you? I expect you will get a lot of comments on this one, and on both sides of the argument. I believe that it would depend on the circumstances of the case. I have great admiration for those who say, "I don't know why I'm in this situation, but there has to be a reason and I intend to find it". I know too that there are those who are in constant pain except when heavily sedated and feel that they can no longer continue to live that way. Remember, most of us will have our pets put down rather than see them suffer. I guess to answer your question, I would have to say that we must know for certain that the person desires this, and that he/she is suffering with no relief from the pain, than I would agree with it. Each circumstance is different and would have to be looked at on an individual basis. Blessings.

Yes, I do believe in euthanasia, if that's what you're referring to. I believe we should have the choice, if we are in sound mind (obviously not body) and no longer wish to live in excruciating pain without any quality of life. The people who help us should not be charged with homicide - but there needs to be proper laws and guidelines set in place which must be followed if someone wishes to take this course.

To me it's a persons right to chose what they want. I think he could have had a life even in a wheel chair. Being paralized he probably felt no pain. I can see people with severe pain and no relief in sight wanting to end things. If you can no longer do anything in life to support yourself and your in intolerable pain all the time. I can see it. And if you need assistance then, so be it. I'd rather help someone if that is their wish and I love them than for them to suffer intolerable pain. And I don't believe in killing anything, not even a bug. So you take from that what you will.

i only agree with or understand it if the person is already dying.. like cancer and there is no hope but their body just keep lying there slowly and painfully existing.. i would agree with that.. if it was just some random depressed person i would not agree because i wouldnt want or think anyone but the person that is wanting to die to have that responsibility..

its really hard how to live paralysed. only those who are, can understand the pain! if the person wants it and wants assistance theres no problem, just words cant make things go better in one's life!
