These ptr sites

I was wondering how many of you have any experience with these "paid to read"sites. I decided that I would venture on a new money making scheme and turn toward reading e-mails for quick money. Well needless to say I joined a ptr site and was led on a "wild goose chase" through every bonus offer and survey site you can imagine. I had to fill out form after form and participate in all of these other programs promising 1.00 here 2.00 there, 12.00,etc. Then I was wondering what ever happened to the paid e-mails I registered for. So far I don't know where to join where I can just do what the site says it is going to do and not be going in circles. Any advice?
