Red car jinx

I have heard many times that red cars bring bad luck and atracts accidents. And I know people who do have red cars and have many problems with them.
Do you belive this? Does red cars really have a sort of a jinx hanging above them?

i have heard that red and other dark colours get into accidents more. but i dont think its because they are bad omens. these dark colours might dilude the opposite drivers or might be too bright a colour for the tired eyes of the drivers who come opposite to these cars, only this can be a reason no bad or good omens in colours,
