Have you ever noticed that someone at Mylot can't add worth beans?

My earnings dropped 15 cents. I knew I hadn't answered 15 cents worth of questionable topics, one, the most. So I looked at each day. None of the earnings per day had changed. So I added them and the new amount was correct. The next day, I earned 60 cents more. Should have put me at the end of $7, but it was at the end of $8 like $8.84. Sure enough, the next day, it was corrected. Somebody at Mylot can't add. Have you noticed this, too?

I have experienced something similar today. I was dissapointed that despite posting around 100 posts my earnings were just 24 cents while usually it is much higher than this. © ronaldinu 2008

It's complicated, they want at least 4 sentences and lots of other things are involved in it. Like they pay more for some things than others. Take care.

Well, Ronald, maybe you're beginning to be penalized for posting so many discussions that it amounts to spamming. Sorry, but I dropped you as a friend because I don't like to see one person taking up a whole page and mostly with topics that looked as if they were just there to get points. You'd probably do better by particpating more in other people's discussions than filling the site with yours.

Unusual suspect, if you have a problem, then PM the person. Don't use my discussion to slam someone who is responding to my discussion. I don't go to your discussions and slam your responders.

I have not noticed the myLot addition errors you speak of. I don't look at my payment page very often. Maybe I should start checking that out. I am behind this month and don't think I'm gonna make payout, but we'll see. Take care.

I made payout before the 15th, so I'm fine. But I think I will slow down for the next couple of weeks. I've got to clean clothes and change them out for winter as well as gather lots of things and try other methods of earning money. Besides on mylot 3xs a day for 2 hours each is a bit much, interfering with my getting things done that I need to do like look for a job. Thanks and take care.

well , it is not a simple addition . And it is not done manually . Mylot uses a very complex algorithm to calculate the earnings for each and every member . there could be some technical problems and hence the calculations might have gone wrong . And the deletion of unwarranted topics also affect the earnings .

Each day has an amount. When you add the amounts for each day, it is simple addition. Because when they correct it, it adds to the amounts above it. But not when they add wrong. So if they are having technical difficulties, that would explain it. But they add each day's total to get the total at the bottom. I'm not talking about how they calculate each day, but the adding of the days together. Check your earnings page. They add together. If they don't then you will see a correction later. Take care. Thanks, I thought they should be having a computer add it. Take care.

I seems to me that with more than 3,000 points, you would know by now how the system works. Every once in a while Mylot makes corrections that may add or take away some money. But I guess complaining about 15 cents is one more way to start a discussion.

Let me explain it again. All the days together should have added up to $7.60, they had $7.75, then they corrected it. They did not change any of the day's totals. And the next day they were adding again, changed it again. The days didn't change, but the adding did. Take care.

I totally agree. They seem to forget pennies all the time, and often I seem to be ahead on the penny count. Never seen more than 10 cents, but it amazes me that it happens at all

Finally someone who knows what I'm talking about. I would think that one of the people here would be correct, that Mylot should have an automatic calculator. But unless it has problems, I don't know why it would be wrong. Yes, the penny part is often wrong. People get angry and think they've lost points when it often just hasn't been added correctly and then they add correctly. They also think they've gained points when it was added wrong and they correct it. Take care.

No I haven't noticed..Though I was disappointed that it wasn't until a couple of days ago I reached my payout amount..I was hoping to reach it sooner, because I am starting to get some referrals that are active..So you think there is some dipping going on around here?

No, I think they just can't add. I had $7.60 according to my calculations one day, but they had $7.75, but they corrected it. If I hadn't kept up with my calculations, that would have upset me. I would have thought that they had docked me that. The next day read 60 cents more for that day. Then they had $8.84, well that isn't 60 cents more than $7.60. But they did correct it later that day. So sometimes when people are getting angry because they think they're getting docked, it's just being corrected for an adding error. At least that's what it looks like to me. They used to be off a penny to three pennies, but lately, it's crazy.
